Ad-hoc Diversity and Inclusivity Committee
Purpose: UNLV recognizes the importance of
diversity and inclusion in all facets of the community. This committee will
provide guidance to the graduate college on how to best recruit, engage,
support and graduate a diverse and inclusive graduate student body.
- Coordinate
with the following entities
- Graduate College Ad-Hoc R2PC Committee
- Office of Diversity Initiatives (specifically
regarding Minority Serving Institution (MSI) status)
- Participation
in STEM / Diversity initiatives
- Produce
a white paper that address:
- What do we know about existing MSIs with robust
graduate programs?
- What current initiatives at UNLV support
under-represented groups?
- What
are best practices for providing support services/structures?
